IU Volleyball Season starts on Friday
HOUSTON, Texas - The Indiana University volleyball team begins their 2009 campaign this weekend (Aug. 28-29), heading west to Texas for a three-match tournament on the University of Houston campus. The Hoosiers will face Southeastern Louisiana, New Orleans and host-school Houston while in the Lone Star state.

Three Hoosiers Named to USA Men's Swimming National Team
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – USA Swimming announced that Hoosiers Ben Hesen, Kevin Swander and Aaron Opell are part of the 2009-10 Men’s National Team.

Qualifying criteria to earn a spot on the USA Swimming National Team are a top six time in Olympic events swum at any of the following events: 2009 ConocoPhillips National Championships and World Championship Trials, 2009 U.S. Open, 2009 World University Games, or the 2009 FINA World Championships.

IU Wrestling Coach Duane Goldman to be Inducted into Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University Head Wrestling Coach Duane Goldman has been named to the Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame class of 2009, and will be officially inducted at a ceremony in Iowa City on Sept. 5.

"I get a sense of awe, of appreciation for what they did," said Iowa Athletics Director Gary Barta about the six-member class being inducted in 2009.
